How are the server set up in SC2? are they hosted based (which i am assuming they are)? if so are, the host leave a new host comes on or there is no host server? just wondering

Im not entirely sure how its hosted... but no matter who leaves, the game will continue.

Crunch,

Battlenet is its own one big server. When a game is created, you and all the players are allocated to a section of that server. So, the game will run based off of everyones connection in that game. It one player has a 300 ping, everyone else will feel like they have a 300 ping. So no, the host will not have any advantage and we cannot buy servers. The only thing we will have is a clan channel and a channel bot.(If they will allow these, but now they may be harder since the game the Battlenet accounts are now active instead of based off of mostly CD keys). So, when I return from vactaion in august and get the game. I will work with Liquid, if he will not already have done so, organizing an a2k channel and all that shanaigans.
